In the teasels.
A black bear looks up briefly from his summer foraging.
Colorful wood duck.
Near sunset at the snake river bend.
Brown bears at Brooks Falls.
Sliver of light. This was one small ray of light on a dark pond.
Snowy Owl on log.
This hummingbird chirps out a loud warning to it's rival as it approaches. I originally did the raw conversion on ACR in photoshop, then I re-did it on Nikon Capture. What an improvement!
Winter colors. Cedar waxwing.
Brooks river at Katmai national park.
The stone mother at Pyramid lake.
Wet dunes. This was taken right after a twenty four hour rainfall record. The long dark stripes are still wet. You can still see the texture on the ripples from the rain.
Wave collision. A large wave hits the rocks, then it reverses direction. If the timing and thrust is right it collides with the next wave and sprays upward and any direction. It happens good about every twenty to thirty minutes.
Ready to play.
Second light on the grand tetons.
